The state of Rhode Island is crushing them further with a 60% tax on profits. Unfortunatelt, the new owners apparently spent too much money and have already defaulted on one payment. The whole second floor is non-smoking and the first floor is not too bad for non-smokers in most sections, The new owners spared no expense in the new construction and it really is a marvelous facility with ample parking. There is a high-stakes area near the front of the building on the first floor and near Johnny Rockets on the second floor. They seem to have all the latest video games and if you're a low-stakes gambler, there are oodles of 1-cent, 2-cent and 5-cent machines. There are no table games but there are some electronic blackjack 'tables' complete with electronic dealers and I believe they've done the same thing with roulette now. With nearly 5000 video slot machines, it's one of the larger casinos in the country. The old, rundown Lincoln Greyhound Park was remodeled and expanded into what is now Twin River Casino.
